I've only had their pani puri, and I think it's the best ones I've had in the US, even close to the street food in India. I give it a 10/10. Definitely on the spicier end, but definitely worth it! Will come again.
The best place in Dallas for top-notch Indian food is definitely Desi District. Whenever I'm in Dallas I love eating here because the food is just amazing. The people are incredibly welcoming and the place has a unique vibe. I absolutely love their chai and the mandi here is next level. Their pani puri gives me the feeling of being back home they even make fresh jalebi! Desi District is expanding all over North America I guess I've seen their restaurants in different states, and whenever I spot one I make sure to stop by As a foodie, I always look for the best and Desi District never disappoints. Their hospitality is excellent and this place has truly won my heart!!
My frequent go to place for chai late night and the space is amazing there with the cots on outside I love the food here too.
This is the best place is you're craving some fast Indian food! They have a huge selection of north and South Indian dishes and everything is My favorite dishes were the paneer dosa and the Gobi Manchurian! Just a heads up, we ordered the Manchurian as an appetizer and it was insanely spicey. It would have been easier to eat if we had also gotten noodles with it. We tried few items like Paneer Dosa, Pakoda, Biryanis and idli.. they were all fairly standard fare except for Biryanis. Biryanis are better here from a texture and taste compared to other Indian fast food places. Service is fair and there isn't much confusion when placing orders or when they are ready to be picked up. Ambience is ok for a fast food place sitting, since this is following the trend of large boxy fast food style restaurants with an adjacent grocery store. Overall over the last few months they have maintained the taste, freshness and variety of flavors the foods. I will go again..
